Pehli Barish Episode 6 Written Update and Review
Dania’s Dilemma
After a bitter interaction with Maani, Dania comes home, in tears, devasted. I like Ruby who’s very supportive of her nand. How unusual!
Anyway, I was saying, Ruby asks Dania about Asim, the papers she received, and Dania lies through her teeth. Why is she hiding her second divorce? Does she fear that she’d be blamed for breaking another marriage?
The Love Triangle
Maani offers to drop Nawal home, because “mumma ne kaha thha”. Arey? If you had spoken to your mother nicely for two minutes, that’d have been a nicer thing to do, no?
And Nawal walks away.
A moment later, Nimra stops Maani for a “conversation” but he has had enough. They bicker, and then finally Maani announced:
“Sunday ko main papa aur dado ko Sunday ko tumhare ghar bhej raha hoon.”
Dawat
Ruby is preparing something special for Maani.
Nawal tells Ruby: Aap waha jayein toh aap ki aankhon mein koi iltija nahin honi chahiye. Uss se meri insult hogi
Maani tells Zehra about Nimra, and that’s when Ruby comes in. She tries to lie, but Zehra knows. She confronts Ruby, and consoles her. Ruby, however, says that she doesn’t want anybody to be forced into a relationship.
Later, Ruby contemplates if she should tell Nawal, but Nawal already knows.
The Date
Maani notices Behzad getting ready for the date, and Nimra notices Maleeha getting ready for the date. Just before she leaves, she gets a call from Hashir. Peshi aayi hai.
On the other hand, Zehra stops Behzad and conversation is double-meaning (applies to both Maani’s situation and then Behzad’s) but finally the cat’s out. Behzad is relieved that his secret is still safe but he can’t tolerate that he is still blamed for the divorce that Dania asked for. Kuch toh jhol hai bhai in ki story mein. Zehra screams at Behzad and then faints. Now, this is good enough scare for Behzad to “control” Maani.
The Mangni
Tehmeena has come to meet, and that’s why Nimra and Maleeha were called on such a short notice. Tehmeena gives Nimra some gifts which upsets Nimra.
Naveeda notices this, and asks Maleeha about “the reason” Nimra is so staunchly against marrying Mohid. Maleeha talks about what she wants for Nimra, and Naveeda talks about her fears for Nimra: mujhe hargiz isko ghar nahin bithhana, tumhari tarah.
Nimra to Naveeda: Aap ke liye meri khushi aziz hai ya baba ka faisla
Naveeda: Hashir’s decision.
Nimra to Maleeha: same question
Maleeha: tumhari khushi
Iss conversation se kya fayeda hua? Hoga toh wahi jo Hashir chahega.
