Tere Bin | Episode 32

Introduction

Tere Bin is a new drama on HAR PAL GEO (Well, it’s not that new). Here’s a snippet from Geo’s official YouTube channel.

Meerab is an ambitious and beautiful young girl who wants to pursue higher studies. Her entire world revolves around her parents and she believes in them the most. Her strong and confident personality makes her stand against social injustices around her.

On the contrary, Murtasim hails from a powerful and influential family. He respects and values the morals and traditions of his family and refuses to let the family down.

Meerab’s life takes an unexpected turn when she finds out about her family’s decision regarding her and Murtasim’s life. Meerab’s hatred towards Murtasim continues to grow as a family secret from the past resurfaces. Coming from different backgrounds and mindsets, Murtasim begins to realize Meerab’s arrogant behaviour towards him and begins to consider her a challenge for himself. On the other hand, Meerab who is used to living her life on her own terms refuses to accept Murtasim’s family traditions and unnecessary social barriers.

Soon their lives go through a series of emotional sufferings and misunderstandings where it becomes difficult for them to coexist. Despite their hatred towards each other, will Meerab and Murtasim accept their true feelings or will the dynamics of ego and self-respect force them to stay apart?

Tere Bin Episode 32 Written Update and Review

Well, well, well, my lovely readers! It’s time for yet another recap and review of “Tere Bin,” and I am your host, Shabana Mukhtar. Buckle up because we’re going to be diving deep into the 32nd episode of the show.

Meerub and Murtasim

So, we begin with Meerub trying to impress Murtasim. She makes him tea and starts talking about Maryam and Anas. Oh, Meerub, you sly fox! I see what you’re doing there. You want to butter Murtasim up before asking for a big favour, don’t you?

And, it’s working. Murtasim is pleasantly surprised by Meerub’s changed behaviour. Unfortunately, Salma Begum interrupts the married couple, and just like that, Meerub’s plan goes down the drain.

And then comes the bombshell!

“Naurez doesn’t want to marry Haya; he wants to marry Maryam,” Salma Begum tells.

Murtasim itna tapa hai yeh sun kar, soch hai aapki.

Naurez doesn’t want to marry Haya. Oh no, no, no! Instead, he wants to marry Maryam. Poor Haya! She’s been rejected again. Honestly, this girl needs to move on and find herself a hobby or something.

Maryam & Salma Begum

Now, let’s talk about Maryam. She’s so in love with Anas that she stands in front of Salma Begum and categorically refuses to marry Naurez. And the way she does it, my dear readers, is commendable. Maryam, you go girl! You don’t let anyone come between you and your love. Also, the way Salma Begum kept a suspense till the end was quite a treat to watch.

Haya, Argh!

The rest of the episode was just Haya being Haya, most of which I skipped through.

Let’s face it. “Haya” is the longest conflict the makers have kept. I mean, can we just skip through her scenes already? She’s like that annoying mosquito buzzing around your ear that you just can’t get rid of. But hey, the writers seem to love her, so we’re stuck with her.

I have maintained my stance since day 1: Ignore Haya. C’mon, she’s a secondary character, a, y’know, a nuisance you eventually kill off. That’s paraphrasing a very popular quote. Identify the source, and win an amazon gift voucher that you can use to buy my books 😀

Anas’s Pressure on Maryam

Anas, on the other hand, is repeatedly asking Maryam to run away from home (just so he can avenge the insult he faced at Murtasim’s hand). Okay, Anas, I get it. You’re angry, and you want revenge. But running away? Really? That’s your big plan? Silly Maryam agrees to it, and we all know where this is going to end.

Maryam readies to go with Anas.

But wait!

This must be the “hawww” moments for most, but not for me. I have always said that the conflicts in this drama come but go away in 1-5 minutes.

The episode ends as Meerubs spots the duo and stops them. See what I did there? Wordplay, my dear readers. I am a genius.

Bravo, Meerub! You’re finally doing something right. And with that, the episode ends.

So, that’s it for this week’s recap and review. As always, thank you for reading, and until next time, keep watching “Tere Bin” and keep reading my blogs.

This review is late because life gets busier by the day. Work, and then house chores and Ramzan and the hobby of reviewing every damn thing there ever is… Uff!

Oh, and before I forget, the quote I paraphrased earlier is from the one and only Nora Bing. Congratulations if you guessed it right.

That’s the episode. I guess I’m done for the day. How you peeps doing?

Until next review, please check out my books on Amazon.
