Tere Bin | Episode 35

Introduction

Tere Bin is a new drama on HAR PAL GEO (Well, it’s not that new). Here’s a snippet from Geo’s official YouTube channel.

Meerab is an ambitious and beautiful young girl who wants to pursue higher studies. Her entire world revolves around her parents and she believes in them the most. Her strong and confident personality makes her stand against social injustices around her.

On the contrary, Murtasim hails from a powerful and influential family. He respects and values the morals and traditions of his family and refuses to let the family down.

Meerab’s life takes an unexpected turn when she finds out about her family’s decision regarding her and Murtasim’s life. Meerab’s hatred towards Murtasim continues to grow as a family secret from the past resurfaces. Coming from different backgrounds and mindsets, Murtasim begins to realize Meerab’s arrogant behaviour towards him and begins to consider her a challenge for himself. On the other hand, Meerab who is used to living her life on her own terms refuses to accept Murtasim’s family traditions and unnecessary social barriers.

Soon their lives go through a series of emotional sufferings and misunderstandings where it becomes difficult for them to coexist. Despite their hatred towards each other, will Meerab and Murtasim accept their true feelings or will the dynamics of ego and self-respect force them to stay apart?

Tere Bin Episode 35 Written Update and Review

Alrighty, so after a long and tiring day of feeling unwell and snoozing off every hour, I get a surprise that an episode of “Tere Bin” is waiting for me.

We see a flashback where Meerub tries to convince Murtasim to meet Anas. I liked how the conversation took place. And, I am totally on Murtasim’s side on this one. A girl should always think about her family before falling in love.

~

Haya blames everything on Meerub, that Salma Begum, Anwar, Murtasim and Maryam away from Haya. Yeh nayi huyi hai. It is not that I had never expected Haya to play the victim card, but her lines made me laugh. Inni koi “masoom” hai Haya ki hadh nahin.

~

Haya challenges Meerub to prove that Murtasim loves Meerub. How? By convincing Murtasim to call of Maryam’s wedding with Naurez. And Meerub agrees because she is silly. I mean, come on Meerub, don’t be silly. How can you expect someone to break their own sister’s engagement? That’s not even the worst part. The worst part is that you are agreeing on a bet with your worst enemy. Itna koi pagal kaise ho sakta hai?

~

Meerub can’t convince Murtasim so she tries to talk to Salma Begum for calling off Maryam and Naurez’s wedding. Meerub might think that she is being smart, but I loved how Salma Begum twists the situation around on Meerub. Salma Begum is so cool. Bushra Ansari gives one of her finest performance in this scene. Subtle and savage AF!

~

Meerub tries to take Maryam out of the house. At first, Salma Begum doesn’t agree but then she does, on a condition that Bakhtoo will accompany them. And so does Haya.

~

Haya accompanies them to see Maryam and Meerub meet Anas but they meet Naurez instead. Haya ki ho gayi kacchi, or so it seems. Meerub tells Naurez that Haya has lied, that Maryam doesn’t want to marry Naurez but Haya refutes all allegations. Haya also calls Murtasim there. Let’s just say, things don’t go according to plan and Haya’s scheming ways cause a huge misunderstanding between Murtasim and Meerub. Later, at home, The married couple argue while Haya listens to the whole conversation and celebrates her success. First of all, why are we constantly seeing her listening to their conversation? And why aren’t Meerub and Murtasim more careful when they talk? This drama seems to thrive on one plot device-overhear the conversation of the other and plan the next evil move. It’s getting on my nerves now.

On a second thought, haven’t we had enough of Haya? Why don’t we kill her in a road accident?

~

Okay, so Murtasim has been a little rude to Meerub so he later tries to talk to his wife but Meerub is like: maine abhi bhao khana hai, chal bhag…

Ab dekhein ki Murtasim kab jhukta hai Meerub ke aage… I say that because I know how good Murtasim is.

Overall, the 35th episode of “Tere Bin” was a rollercoaster ride of emotions. We saw some cute moments, some frustrating moments, and some moments that made us want to scream at the TV screen. But, that’s the beauty of this show. It keeps us hooked and wanting more.

There is one thing that bothers me, thought. Murtasim and Meerub’s love story is almost sorted, so why are the makers just stretching the plot for no reason? But let’s take a moment to appreciate the acting skills of the actors. They really know how to bring their characters to life.

Let’s hope the next episode is more interesting. Until then, stay tuned for more recaps and reviews from yours truly.
