Yunhi Episode 11 Written Update & Review

Assalam Alaikum, fellow drama lovers! It’s time for another recap and review of the latest episode of “Yunhi”.

So, Dawood and Kim back home to see their elders anxiously and worriedly waiting for them. When they learn where they were (to invite Zulfi), everyone flips out, even Naveed. Nobody had expected this to happen, and nobody had even thought that Dawood would be the one to take Kim out in her mayon ka joda.

Dawood goes to talk to Kim, you know, to ask her if she’s okay, but looking at Kim’s arrogance, he ends up reprimanding her. Later, he asks her if she’s alright. I liked this scene. It shows that Dawood is the “hero”. He is considerate, he looks after Kim, he even accompanies her on quests that aren’t desi. And he is hadnsome. Allah aisa shohar  har ek do de, ameen.

This episode was all about the much-awaited nikaah between Kim and Dawood. Kim has agreed to marry Dawood. Even though she calls it an experiment, I think it’s more of a sadist’s plan. Dawood keeps quiet most of the time, while Kim keeps saying things that would easily instigate any person. Even for the nikaah ceremony, when the qazi asks her, “kya aap ko qubool hai?” Her response is, “Mujhe to qubool hai, aap iss se pucch lein.”

Behen, that’s the process. Pehle ladki se, phir ladke se puchhte hain. Even if you hadn’t said that, qazi would have done his job.

On a side note, Maya Ali looked stunning. Whether it was her yellow mayon ka joda or her bridal outfit, she looked like a million bucks. I hate to admit, but her acting skills and her dressing style, both has improved a lot in the past few years.

Naveed suddenly decided to leave for America (what about his promise to marry Iqbal?) Nobody knows about it, yet. Now, we wait to watch Kim’s reaction when she finds out.
