Zanjeerain Episode 10 Written Update and Review
- Rabiya and Mudassir and their too-perfect marriage. Their lovey dovey stuff is supposed to contrast the aftermath (once Mudassir dies), I understand that but still… I feel like someone force-fed me gulab jamun, barfi, laddoo and gulab jamun ki chashni all at once. If I were to talk to the director, I’d say, “hath thoda haula rakheb”.
- the Khans and their talk of revenge. Sar Buland Khan senses something is wrong with Sherdil’s death, as in, Torsam did it, but something doesn’t feel right. I wonder what that is. We all know it was Zafran Khan’s plan through and through. Does Sar Buland Khan think someone from his side is also involved?
The most important revelation of this episode was why Zafran Khan offered Gul Mehr in swara: as a revenge to Gul Mehr ‘s father. Zafran Khan and Zarsanga were step siblings to Gul Mehr’s father, who offered Zarsanga in swara when Zafran Khan killed someone on Hayat Khan’s side. Zafran Khan wasnr happy about the swara. And now he has taken revenge.
And he ain’t no langda. That was quite shocking. Adnan Siddiqui was very good in that scene. I like him generally but this drama shows him so uninhibited about his vanity, he has immersed himself into this character.
