Zanjeerain Episode 19 Written Update and Review
Sar Buland and Rabiya talk. Rabiya tells Sar Buland that she feels responsible for Mudassir’s death (I rolled my eyes on that, bahen ki suyi ek hi baat pe atak gayi hai.) and Sar Buland says the most sensible thing.
Sar Buland to Rabiya: Sohrab lala blamed me for Bano’s disappearance. I didn’t take it to heart. Mujhe mera sach pata hai, aise hi aapko bhi apna sach pata hona chahiye. Don’t let anyone or anything bother you.
They walk, and they walk and they walk some more. It was as if the duo is on a mission to complete 10K steps, or perhaps 20K. When they were walking, it seriously reminded me of Jack Reacher. In his books, one thing that always stands out is how much the dude walks. From one city to another, even one state to another. Sar Buland and Rabiya also walked a lot. Main dekh kar hi thak gayi.
Then, they’re caught. Before something happens, Sar Buland’s aadmi (three of them) come and hit the guy. Then, the duo is safely escorted to one of their addas. Sar Buland instructs the guys to not let a soul know about Rabiya’s disappearance. But when Gul Zaman brings Rabiya home, Shirin watches them because she has nothing better to do except spying on everyone.
I think Shirin thinks that she’s the real “owner” of all things because of…Sohrab so she has the audacity to go and confront Rabiya. Rabiya, however, has perhaps understood her own position. The smirk and swag with which she deals with Shirin, one of the few moments where I liked Rabiya otherwise I usually don’t like her rondu face.
Rabiya to Shirin: I’m Sar Buland’s guest. Don’t talk to me like that or I’ll tell him.
Good scene!
Sohrab tells everyone that he found Bano’s mayyat in such a poor state that he did kafan-dafan (liar) and everyone begins to mourn the death. Sar Buland wants to spend some time in Bano’s room. I wonder if he’d find anything there.
Zafran Khan learns about Sar Buland and Rabiya’s presence in his area and starts to think… And after that my brain draws a blank. For the past month or so, my spondylosis has gotten worse with constant pin-and-needles feeling in both arms. For the past two days, I’ve been managing somehow because of the release (yes, our product is releasing) and now I am about to even lose balance, that’s how much pain I’m in. I think some memory is also wiped out because of the pain. Anywho, so that was my recap and rant of this episode. How do you like it?
Salaam!
