“Jab tak main Sher Bano ki gumshudgi se le kar ab tak ke ilzaamaat ka badla nahin le leta, na main aap ka Chhota bhai, aur na aap mere bade bhai.”

Very well said, Sardar Sar Buland Khan. But Danny Z falters in such scenes that demand him to be upset and angry and loud. Nahin aata bhai ko abhi. He’s too sweet to be loud I guess?

And then happens nikaah. Noor isn’t happy, Shirin isn’t happy, bride and groom aren’t happy but it’s a decision that’ll help their goals.

Bibi Jaan has accepted Rabiya with all her heart. “Jao Dulhan ko apne sath le kar jao.” Aur woh hath mein hath dena wala scene reminded me of old Bollywood movies that we’d watch on VCR at nani’s house. No Bollywood movie ended without that. Ek marta hua insaan (ya jeeta jaagta hua) hero heroine ke hath aapas mein thama deta thha. It used fascinate me. Now, lowkey cringe.

Torsam recalls all his interactions with Zafran Khan, probably realizing what Gul Mehr said is true. But what’s he going to do about it? Nothing is clear. I think woh bhi apne mama ki Tarah buzdil hai. At least qatil toh hai hi. Sohrab maybe the ultimate villain but Torsam is no saint, either.
