Zanjeerain Episode 33 Written Update and Review
This was an episode of khulasa.
Khulasa #1
(Hindi mein khulasa=exposure, as in: Aaj iss baat ka khulasa karte hain)
Noor is talking to her mother. Shirin enters the room without permission, no regards of privacy, no nothing.
Noor: Tum kuch auqat se badh nahin rahin?
Shirin: Abhi abhi Sohrab Khan ne mujhe meri auqat yaad dilayi hai, jab maine nikaah ki farmaish ki
And then begins a long revelation. She has nothing to lose, so she doesn’t hesitate from saying pretty nasty things to Noor. She wants one thing: reaction
Both Anam Hussain and acted well.
Noor has had enough. Amidst very loud backgroud music, she drags Shirin to Sar Buland.
Noor: Sardar Sar Buland Khan, main tum se insaaf maangne aayi hoon. Bhabhi nahin, faryadi ban kar aayi hoon… Jirga bithhao, saza dilao.
Shirin: Saza deni hai toh sirf badkaari ki nahin, qatl ki bhi toh. Mere paas khone ko kuch nahin hai…
And then she reveals everything. EVERYTHING. In this scene, Danny was the best. Quiet, controlled but hurt nonetheless.
Khulasa #2
Torsam confronts Zafran Khan, shows the video with Sohrab Khan. Zafran Khan ko kakh bhi nahin paRa.
Torsam Khan: Toh badla le kar sukoon mil gaya.
Zafran Khan: Haan.
Torsam Khan: Ab tu mera mama nahin raha.
And he holds a gun to Torsam. So does Zafran Khan. But… His gun is empty.
Oh… I didn’t know Torsam could do it.
Khulasa #3
Zargoon and Sohrab come home from hujra. Both look relaxed but they are met with a lot of guards.
And then Sar Buland Khan “arrests” Sohrab Khan. I didn’t understand why he dabbed his face with the hanky, and then threw it. What’s up his sleeve?
