This song introduced me to Ahmed Jahanzeb. I have heard Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan before (Mitwa from Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna and Khamaj are two very brilliant songs. However, the world of coke studio seems to have magnify the magic of his voice.

This composition takes you on a spiritual journey.

I remember Shuja Haider’s interview with Sameena Peerzada. His words stuck to my mind forver. He said, “there are a few qualities of Allah that we can try to imbibe. We can try to be kind and generous, but we cannot be mutakabbir. That is only for Allah.”

The words, the tune, the atmosphere everything will simply grab you by your throat and will not let you forget the experience. I particularly like the humming at the end of each line. This is a perfect composition.
