Day 2: Up in the Air

Day 2 had begun even before we boarded the flight. Yeah, you guessed it right. The flight was delayed by two and a half hours.

The food was yummy, and few people were awake to eat it. I was one of the “chatorey” people who ate dinner.

Day 2: Jeddah

We arrived at the Jeddah airport at dawn. The formalities went by in a daze. It was such a surreal feeling. I still couldn’t believe I was headed to the city of Allah.

The meal was served on-board. The Custard cream biscuits were distributed at the airport while the hujjaj waited for their buses. The “Free Meal” box was gives to us while our bus was headed to Makkah. 

I liked the “Free Meal” box. It is so simple and in your face. Yeh khana jo aap kha rahe ho, muft hai 🙂

I didn’t eat the biscuits nor drank the juice as I feared it was flavoured. I couldn’t afford to eat anything flavoured whilst in Ihram.

Day 2: Hotel’s Lobby
