Yunhi Episode 26 Written Update & Review
Assalam Alaikum, drama enthusiasts! It’s your insomniac blogger, Shabana Mukhtar, back with another recap and review of the latest episode of “Yunhi.” This drama has been keeping us hooked with its intriguing plot and old-world charm, and the latest episode did not disappoint!
Iqbal’s Story
This episode does the much-needed revelation on Dada Jaan, of everything that he has been doing wrong. I don’t really like the plot device used for this revelation-overhearing Kim and Iqbal’s at-length conversation with each other. Iqbal confesses that she married Faiz only because of familial pressure. Dada Jaan overhears it all.
Dada Jaan to Basharat: Mera marz itna nahin bigra ki qaboo mein nahin aa sakta.
Little does Basharat know that Bau Ji is not talking about his blood pressure. Now, he wants to revert his decision, but he can’t directly tell the reason. So, he comes up with “watta satta” logic, and that late Khursheed wouldn’t like it. I like how smartly he deals with such a delicate topic.
The dun part of it all is that Raziya takes the full credit of this change-of-heart. I know it is problematic, but boy did I enjoy that scene between these two elderly women.
Dr Dawood
For the first time in these 26 episodes, we see Dawood playing a doctor. The patient, a young girl, is diagnosed with jaundice, and the grandmother says that she knows a “nek insaan” who will help with the test and charges etc. And we all know who that “nek insaan” is. Yeah, it’s Zulfi. I guess we have on more vote in Zulfi’s favour now; not that Dawood do anything against Kim’s wishes. He generally comes around
The Couple
Kim is alone, thinking, pondering over her feelings about Dawood. She’s in love. Dawood’s confession followed by Kim’s, OMG. This scene is sooooo sweet. Mera munh mithas se bhar gaya. Abhi khaari boondi kha rahi hoon.

That’s my take on the episode. I know, it’s a bit unusual, but hey, I never have a fixed format of review.
