Aasmanon Pe Likha
Aasmanon Pay Likha (Urdu: آسمانوں پہ لکھا) (meaning Written on the Skies) is a 2013 TV show that aired on Geo Entertainment television. It stars Sajal Ali and Sheheryar Munawar in lead roles.
Qudsia (Sajal Ali) is a middle-class girl who dreams of a simple married life. Unfortunately, her in-laws demand a hefty sum of dowry. Qudsia’s family were not able to pay the dowry. Her father eventually has a heart attack after getting insulted. Aaliyan (Sheheryar Munawar), who has come to attend his employee’s daughter’s wedding, ends up marrying Qudsia.

Nosy Folks
Adil and Shaheen are very nosy people. Every time they come to the hospital, they pry on Qudsiya’s family. What do they get out of it? Don’t ask me. What does anyone get from nosying into someone else’s business?
I think they are only there to create conflicts. As if Natasha wasn’t enough.
Speaking of Natasha… Natasha and Aliyan patch up, AGAIN, but Mehmood isn’t happy with the latest turn of events. It amazes me that Aliyan doesn’t take much tension of anything.

The Lovely Couple
Qudsiya has taken a cab to go back home from the hospital. The cab breaks down but guess who rescues her? Aliyan. They fight in the car. He teases that she cries and she is rude about Natasha. Good times.
At home, grandma teases Aliyan that he acts like a husband around Qudsiya. Grandma calls Qudsiya on dinner table but then aliyan leaves..he is quite confused. Grandma tells Qudsiya about the possibility of a divorce. Even offers to meet her parents.
Grandma: “Aliyan is young, so be careful.”
Dadi jaan, why don’t you give a piece of advice to your grandson as well? Why does the onus fall on women? It’s a woman’s job to keep the man away from her. Wow! Isn’t that against the Islamic rulings?
Moving on….
Aliyan comes to her room to return the earing that he found. Very recently told to “be careful”, Qudsiya rudely asks him to leave. Infuriated by this, Aliyan comes to complain to grandma about this. He is mad at Qudsiya and grandma enjoys this reaction. She is such a twisted person. What does she want? Does she want Aliyan and Qudsiya to come closer? Her words say otherwise. Does she want Aliyan to divorce Qudsiya? She isn’t very eager on that either. It’s so confusing.
Does she want Aliyan and Qudsiya together or not?
“Tell your mother I want to meet her,” she tells Qudsiya.
Now, we wait and see how that goes.
