Muharram 1, 1448 AH
I generally schedule posts, so even though I have a post published every day, I don’t have a publish streak for every day, y’know what I mean?
I’ve been meaning to do this for a year: post every day for a month, a year, a hijri year. A hijri diary, so to speak. The only problem with this idea is that the diary entries will not necessarily havee 365 days, and the dates are non-deterministic, but we’re going to try.
And this marks the “official” first day because I did a dry-run for the last five days of 1447 AH.
I wish I had taken a day off. The crazy hot temperature in the past 6 weeks has finally gotten to me. Heat acne, rashes, fungal infection because of excessive sweat, general loss of appetite. Top that with cervical vertebrae condition (I forgot what it was called) flared up which causes pinched nerves, throbbing pain in shoulder, upper back, arm, down to finger nails and toes, the complete right side shooting with pain… I really wish I could take a sabbatical for a month or two, just to cool off.
Happy Islamic New Year!
NOTE: This is part of “write one post every day for a year” challenge.
