Friday Frenzies | Drawing and Me #2

TGIF!

After posting Friday Frenzies | Drawing and Me, I knew I have more to say on this subject and I would be coming back. So here I am, two weeks later.

Let’s first talk about the supplies I purchased.

DOMS Colour Pencils Set of 24

Yes, I bought two, one for myself and one for the little boy who lives down the lane… Hehe… Kidding… This one down below is for my niece.

I had already used before purchasing so I knew it’s smooth like butter. If I finish off my set, I’ll be buying it again, for sure.

My 20-months-old nephew has since torn the box and I will have to find another home for these pencils.  He said sorry, holding his ears and with large nephew-eyes. I can’t even be mad at him.

Amanda 7-in-1 Rainbow Pencils Set of 10

This was an interesting find, one that I used in the aforementioned post. Although I like the idea of 7 colours in one, and the beautiful output it generates even with random pencil strokes, it wasn’t very smooth. The colour part is very thin stick, not as shown in the picture. Also, the colours aren’t as shown in the picture.

I’d still not say that I’m disappointed. It’s a fun pencil to use.

Final Thoughts

This is, by no means, a sponsored post. I purchased something My stance remains the same: Those amatuer, child-like pencil strokes on paper really is therapeutic, and I’m not giving up on drawing. When I have more “creations”, I’ll post again. Until then, remember in my prayers.
