I told ya, I’ll come back.
So my new bookshelf is ready.
Before

After

Today, we are here to take a closer look on each section.
Non-Fiction, Literary and Contemporary Fiction

I don’t have bookends so I’m using random objects as separate within one section. In non-fiction shelf, the books on the right is what I already owned, the ones one the left is what I aquired in the past two now-i-have-more-room-soi-want-more-books spree.
The middle shelf is a combination of Literary and Contemporary Fiction because I didn’t want to separate them out. The one on the left of treasure box I’ve read, the ones on the right I’ve started but parked aside.
The last shelf is again a combination of Literary and Contemporary Fiction. The ones on the right is Indian authors, some of them I’ve mentally marked as discard. Some, I’ll read some time this year. Or next.
Crime, Mystery, Thriller

I think the thriller shelf is my strongest shelf.
The one with Lee Child, David Baldacci, Ian Rankin, Dan Brown, James Patterson, Frederick Forsyth, John Grisham, Jeffrey Archer…
The top shelf is almost all read, except David Baldacci. Most of the bottom shelf is also read, but the middle shelf and I are yet to be acquainted, except Karin Slaughter’s The Last Widow, Lesley Kara’s The Rumour and Paul Pilkington’s The One You Trust.
Mix Lot
I just realized I have mistakenly revealed someone’s face in this shelf, so I’m not including the photo. This has some YA, some Middle Grade, some short story collections such as Labels and Other Stories and some children’s books, like 6-page long book with shapes etc.
Final Thoughts
I’m not done. One impulse buy of 499 INR book lot plus one book by Anna Maxted is on the way. I’ll update more when I’m done sorting those. Meanwhile, I should probably post about the books I’ve read.
Until next time, happy reading!
