Pehli Barish Episode 27 Written Update and Review
So, Zehra, Behzad and Maani finally come to ask for Nimra’s hand. Zehra does try to dull the moment, first by saying: bas jo Allah ki marzi. Then, she objects on Nimra’s parents’ absence. Maani flips the scene around by asking Zehra to put a finger on Maleeha’s hand. Nimra and Maani on-board, Behzad agrees. Zehra has to relent. Shamim Hilaly at her finest. Her expressions were like she would eat them all alive. This scene showed all five so well-dressed, especially Behroz in white was shining, literally, damak raha thha. Loved it.
Dania is now back at Hamza’s. She’s upset that she wasn’t asked to tag along for rishta thing. I think she could have gone, but looking at Dania and her selfishness, I think Behzad was right to not take her along.
Zehra questions Maani, and Maani is ready with his usual word-play to win the argument. Word-play is one of the things I’m still watching this drama. Dialogues sun ke maza hi aa jata hai.
Maani brings sweets for Dania, and tells Dania about Maleeha’s engagement to Behzad. Dania spits venom, and sounds a lot like Zehra. Like phupho, like bhatiji.
I was thankful that Hamza and Ruby both understand what’s done is done. If they had forced Maani and Nawal to marry each other, it would have been a recap of Behzad and Nimra’s failed marriage, right? Nawal doesn’t understand this and keeps fighting with Maani. I like Maani is being a sensible and kind friend and Nawal is being hyper-sensitive. He was joking around and Nawal blew it out of proportion.
Dania comes to meet Nimra, brings a nice bracelet, sweet; the look she gives Maleeha could have burned a hole in Maleeha’s heart, and to think she’s really sick. I liked that Dania asked for tea and not juice. My tea-starved soul felt so happy.
Ab dekho, next episode mein kya hota hai.
