Be nice, be kind, be considerate.

Hello again and welcome to my world!

How have you been?

This is time for a recap of my week.

First off, I want to take a moment and thank every visitor on my blog. Your time is appreciated 🙂

This is the poison for today.

I don’t much like non-chocolate cake but ate it anyway. It was okay, not great. Chocolate is great. I would love some right now.

My Office:

DevOps and similar concepts are making it difficult for us. We are put on call support for the production environments, a job otherwise reserved for technical support guys. It means that I have to be at my desk from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm. And be at my desk almost all the time.

I felt like a caged lioness – that’s right – I am a Leo. I start from home at 8:30 a.m. and I reach a little after 8:3- p.m. A 12 hours long day, can you imagine? My usual reach-home time is 6:30 p.m. My sister had to cook alone for two days. The other time, I reached just in time and helped her. She is not happy about it. I am not happy either. I mean 12 hours at work and then 3-4 hours at home. Yesterday, when I finally went to bed, my legs were stiff like sticks. I felt that if I stood any longer, my knee will crack and break.

Today is the last day of on call support. I will need to do that again every month until June.

My Writing:

Meh. Not much. A million ideas but hardly any execution. I don’t have time people. Writing needs time and focus.

My Reading:

I read a lot of urdu escapist stories. I need that to wash the day off me.

How about you? Anything different from usual?
