Yes!
I bought more books… because… why not? A lot of research went into this. It was not an impulse buy, mind you.
The Research
- I had at least 20 lots shortlisted. I sat with ChatGPT to evaluate each lot’s worth, the genre of books, value per novel, etc.
- I considered ordering another 10KG of books for Rs 1299 like my first haul with worthing.in but that was a risk because I’d get a lot of non-fiction books as well.
- I contemplated ordering a 20 KG box for Rs 4000 but that was a huge risk. And let’s face it, 20 KG is a bit much, even for me.
- And then ordered one lot. This one also has two non-fiction, but… I’ll live with it.
Book Order #3 of 7 for 2026
Book Haul #3 of 7 for 2026
Timeline
28-June-2026: Order placed, requested a picture before order is shipped.
30-June-2026: Got a picture of the stack I’d be getting. I requested that the parcel NOT be sent by DTDC because they don’t ship to my pincode. The guy promised to use India Post.
30-June-2026 Later that day: I got an email about shipment, with tracking number etc. Courier service? DTDC.

So, this one will go back as well.
Yeh na thi hamari qismat, ke visaal-e-yaar hota
Agar aur jeete rehte, yahi intezaar hota

7-July-2026: The parcel hasn’t reached Nagpur yet. Then, it will take 10 days to go back, a week to be re-dispatched (good-case scenario) and another 10 days to reach me.
I don’t have a good feeling about this.
9-July-2026: I had no hopes, was tracking other parcels, y’know, having order a total 7 and having received only 2 (before this one). I got a message that the parcel is in my city, and then a coupe of hours later, a message asking me to pick up the parcel. Now, normally, I don’t like that, but I didn’t want the parcel to go back to Delhi. We have had enough of that already. So, I spent Rs 40 and 30 minutes to get the parcel. Also helped to increase me step count for the day, so yay.

Final Thoughts
Two non-fiction, one book that says it should not be sold, but I guess that’s on me. I chose this lot. This wasn’t forced on me. At least it is better than getting sub-par stories written by authors I know I don’t like.
I think buying these lots is much better than the surprise lot which has more non-fiction books than anticipated. Also, the surprise 10kg lot included many Indian authors and titles I wish I hadn’t bought/read even if it was roughly 40 bucks per book.
Here’s a summary:
Selection Allowed: Yes, sort of
Price: Reasonable, given the size of these books.
Offers: Depending on the lot, very impressive if you get a 10 book lot for 499
Delivery: Took 11 days, not very impressive
Book Condition: Awesome. All books are new/amost new, very little foxing due to time, and not use.
Verdict:
This is the second haul of worthing.in and I’m bumping up from 3 to 4. I loved the book conditions.
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Given the back and forth of parcels, this book haul was was scheduled for Aug 30 but then surprisingly came early 🙂
Until next time, happy reading!
