Once upon a time (two days ago), my fortnightly one-on-one meeting with manager was set for Tuesday. Tuesday, if you want to know, is a meeting day.
10:45 AM: Scrum
11:15 AM: one-on-one
2:00 PM: Architectural Discussion
6:30 PM: Project Meeting
And random, “can we connect” meetings throughout the remaining time.
So, if one (me) has to take the day off, they’d save the torture of at least 4 meetings. Nice, right?
Now, for some reason, my manager shifted it to Thursday, which sucks, because talking to that guy is no fun; it’s like talking to a cardboard box: no opinion, no personality but loads of proviledge because he’s a manager. It didn’t happen, because he wasn’t available (good riddance) but I still had a constant nagging feeling. Thursday is officially ruined.
NOTE: This is part of “write one post every day for a year” challenge.
