I just watched a video titled “Mil Hi Lo (OST Dr Bahu) | In The Box – Season 2 | Faisal Kapadia & Zeb Bangash” and my mind is blown. There WAS a reason Doctor Bahu OST touched me so much. I can’t forgive myself for not recognizing Faisal bhai’s magical voice.
When Aashiqui 2 released, and Shraddha Kapoor voiced Teri Galiyan song with “aa aa aa aa aaa, aa aa aaa aaa aa”, my sister used to say “munh se music achha bajayi hai, aise songs achhe lagte hain”. I used to find that statement funny and absurd but now… when I hear a song like this, where Zeb and Faisal croon “tara rattaaa tara ra ra ra”, or Ali Hamza, Ali Sethi and Waqar Ehsin singing “Tinak Dhin”; I know what she means.
Pune is still freezing, and I am making one blunder after the other, more on that later, in a separate series called Pune Diaries, soon.
