Rabi’ al-awwal 10, 1448 AH

Today, I discussed Dar-e-Nijaat with my brother, setup the background and then revealed the “tableegh” wala scene. My enactment was very funny perhaps so he laughed hard, but then he got serious and then we discussed how some writers can incorporate the seemingly smallest of topics from deen in their writing and make an impact.

The topic started because we were discussing Dr Zakir Naik, and before than we were discussing Mufti Shamail’s debate with Javed Akhtar. We topic-hop a lot.

And the topic ended with me going out to bring vada pao and samosa.
