The intro to the cuisine Sushi and the show Sushi is a stroke of genius. This show starts on such interesting note – the network signal problem pertinent in India. Biswa talks about construction’s plight, footpaths, Indian mindset, basically all things Indian. No matter which area he choose to talk about, he nails it with…

Qarar | Episode 14
Ammar and Junaid are already busy making list about their business. That bit is not relevant to the show so we only see a muted scene. Thank goodness. It would have been quite boring. This drama is boring as it is. The sudden romance angle between Ammar and Fareeha is quite cute. Junaid buys a…
Mushk | Episode 25
Remember Saquib? Roshni’s boyfriend? He’s back. While Chhota Malak has kidnapped Guddi so he could force her to marry her, Saquib meets Roshni to seek forgiveness. Roshni’s reply and acting both is brilliant. When she talks, she sounds like Sanam Jung. Good actor, this girl. I wouldn’t say that Riza Talish is a bad actor….
Tera Mera Pyar | Episode 166
Malahat insists that she accompanies Ayse to work. I don’t understand why she believed Helda blindly. Cedah is pleased to see this progress. Meh! Oh, by the way, Gonca has not accepted Cedah’s offer. Not yet. She is still considering the offer, for sure. I am so excited for the next episode, NOT! #Shamelessselfpromotion…
Tera Mera Pyar | Episode 164
Remember that scene with Helda and Cedah when Helda says she wouldn’t help Cedah anymore? That changes immediately in this episode. Helda is out and about for some shopping and she spots Kerim and Ayse at a seaside restaurant eating breakfast. Even at a distance she overhears them talking. And, what are they talking…

This episode begins at the bar itself where the dudes are partying. Volkan and Kerim are still at the bar, and Volkan is flirting with a girl, like really hitting on her. Someone interrupts her to inform about wrongly parked car. He shoos away the man and asks The next moment, he asks his…
Book Review | TOOFAAN KA AGHWAA | Jasoosi Duniya #67 | Ibn-e-Safi)
Toofan Ka Ighwa, or as I read it – Toofaan Ka Aghwaa, has a sci-fi theme. There is a doctor/scientist with a terrific invention that he can hijack a storm and take it elsewhere. Now, this can be a good invention or a bad one, depending on the intentions. Inventions and intentions go hand-in-hand, don’t…
Amazon Prime Video Binge | Day 6 | Vicky This Side, Varun That Side | Varun Thakur
Okay, let’s move to the second member of TISS: The Internet Said So. Varun Thakur, ladies and gentlemen! This show has two parts, as you can understand from the title. First, Varun Thakur performs as himself. Later, we see his alter-ego. His jokes aren’t as funny as his performance. He enacts every character with such…
Amazon Prime Video Binge | Day 5 | What Are You Laughing At | Neville Shah
Okay, back to Neville Shah because… Why not? Fine, I will give you a reason: I didn’t know what else to watch, and Neville is quite interesting. This one begins with an intro. Neville is sitting outside on a sole chair that was brought in for the sole purpose of this shoot. Hethen walks through…
Qarar | Episode 13
Ammar and Fareeha’s relationship has been sorted automatically without much explanation. Similarly, Nadira is also very sweet to Fareeha and very harsh with Maya. I wonder how long that would last. Maya is now divorced and lost whatever little mind she had. She talks about about everyone, EVERYONE. Rana, the ever-so-sensible friend is a bit…
