The 12th episode is live. We see more of Husn-e-Jahan and Taha and Abdul Alaa’s displeasure over their union.

Before proceeding, these are some related posts you’d want to check out first. Or, maybe later.

Plot Summary

We continue to see Abdul Alaa’s POV of how and why he opposed Husn-e-Jahan and Taha’s union. Taha leaves his house with Husn-e-Jahan. That was the last time Abdul Alaa saw Taha alive.

He had finally forgiven Taha when he wrote about Qalb-e-Momin’s birth. 8 years later, Husn-e-Jahan sends a parcel to Abdul Alaa hoping Taha is with him. And, then he meets Qalb-e-Momin for the first time.

The flashback ends and we see the grandfather grandson duo discussing the possible wrongdoings of Husn-e-Jahan. Qalb-e-Momin reminisces his behaviour with Husn-e-Jahan and repents.

There are more flashbacks in store, because we still don’t know what went on between Taha and Husn-e-Jahan. I know, because I have read the book but if you haven’t, wait for the drama to unfold. Alright, if you really insist, read this post.

Back in Pakistan, we see Suraiyya and Sultan mourning Faisal’s wedding. Sultan adds two and two together and realizes that Momina had known it all along.

Momina has officially signed up Renuka as her manager and there is a lot of work coming her way. She remembers Jehangir and suddenly gets up, wraps dupatta and starts reading Quran. Behen, wazu?

Review

Manzar Sahbai’s performance when he announces that Taha is dead, is the best scene of this episode.

As usual, Sultan is one of the best performances ever.

I have also posted my reviews for two other Saturday shows – Mere Paas Tum Ho episode 19 & Deewar-e-Shab episode 28. Check ’em out.

See you in next review.
