Drama Review | Aye Musht-e-Khak | Episode 11

Alrighty, let’s review the latest episode of Aye Musht-e-Khak.

A little recap of episode 10

There’s a girl in Mustajab’s life – Shiza, and she is determined to take Mustajab away from Dua. Would she be successful in her venture?

Aye Musht-e-Khak episode 11 written review and update

Dua and Mustajab are invited at Dua’s friend’s place. Mustajab ditches her to meet Shiza. Shiza is in full blackmail mode. Mustajab doesn’t take Shiza seriously but guess who watches them?
Dayaan…
He talks to Shiza and whatever he learns keeps him awake and restless. Asad acts so well so as a caring older brother.
Shiza even tells Mustajab about her conversation with Dayaan. One would think that she wouldn’t stay with Mustajab, but she surprises us all.
And then comes the confrontation, and a series of smirks and snappy remarks. I like this scene for how it’s executed. If there was no background score, I would have loved it. Full marks to both Asad and Feroze and the director, of course.
Mustajab loses her temper just as we and Dayaan would expect.
Dua interrupts them but Mustajab doesn’t tell her anything, nor does Dayaan. I don’t like why Dua doesn’t understand Dayaan’s sentiments. Now she has given Mustajab a chance to fool Dua, which he does.
I like that Dayaan has taken a U-turn. He has been positive and defended Mustajab always, but ab paani sar se uncha ho gaya hai. Now he has put his foot down.
“Mohabbat fitrat hoti hai, aseeri nahin.” Dua says.
Shiza has acted well. Isn’t she the same girl who was in Asim Azhar’s Maahi Aaja?

QOTD

Is anyone else getting tired of Feroze Khan’s throaty delivery of dialogue, for lack of a better term.
