I knew, I just knew that they would show Dayaan in ihraam and they did. I so called it.
Yeah, so Dayaan and Tabeen are away for Umrah and back home Dua and her family
Just while Dua is about to leave for exams, she sees a photograph of her and Mustajab. This scene reminded me of that scene from Bollywood movie Fashion when Priyanka was about to go out of stage. So unnecessary.
This episode comes with a big twist, a twist that thankfully wasn’t stretched for far too long in terms of screen time. Shakeela doesn’t have the courage to take a false oath on Qur’an and admits that Bobby is atheist. The court nullifies Bobby’s nikaah with Dua.
The reaction is as expected: Dua and her family is happy and content; Shakeela is depressed, and Bobby goes back to being Bobby. And he gets back with Shiza. This girl has perseverance.
Shakeela keeps remembering what Dua and Sajjad have said. Something good came out of this divorce. At least one atheist is disturbed, disturbed enough to repent her sins. I didn’t see this coming. Iffat Omer has faltered in her performance but the twist was so satisfying.
What to expect from Aye Musht-e-Khak episode 21
Given that Shakeela was the major reason behind Bobby’s atheism, does this change in her mean a cascading change in Bobby? We will find out in next episode.
