Before We Begin 

I have been meaning to watch Sen Çal Kapımı for almost a year. The problem is, I found a website which had listed all key events and the detailed article spoiled it for me. I mean, this drama goes through some pretty bizarre twists and turns. Besides, this drama has two seasons. It is never a good idea. I watched Emergency Pyar, and they could not maintain the contniuity of the two seasons.  All I’m saying is, I have my apprehensions about this dizi.

But then, last week, I saw a few Urdu dubbed episodes of the drama, and I thought–why not?

Alright, with the basics established, let get to the episode.

Dastak Mere Dil Pe Episode 35 Written Review & Update

 

 

This episode begins on a part-fun, part-serious note. Melo tells everyone about the wedding and Ayfer just loses it. Melodrama ensues and even Eda is there. She denies the news of her wedding but we know her lies would be out soon.

Engin confronts Serkan about the contract. Serkan tells Engin how complex things are. I was so expecting this. Engin is the bestest friend one needs in life. I liked this conversation so much. But we have a bigger problem at hand. Serkan knows how Engin found out, and we know he will lash at Eda. 

 

And he does.

 

He comes to Eda’s house… The two bicker as usual. I so enjoyed it.

 

Later, Eda reminisces the sweet moments with Serkan.

Eyden sends lots of stuff for wedding preparation and we see a montage of all friends going through that stuff. Nice… 

 

Eda has picked up some styling tips from Eyden and dresses up “formally” for work. Serkan approves… Sweet moments.

 

 

~ 

 

Serkan and Eda go to the Holdings and have a meeting. Serkan vetoes the contract with a European firm. In the beginning, it seems like he’s being unreasonable but then he lists all the reasons, legit reasons. He takes it a notch further and humiliates Ferit. 

 

~ 

 

Kaan comes to see Ferit, he has forced Ferit to pay a hefty amount to hide the recording and stuff. Selin loses her temper and asks Ferit to sign a prenup. When Ferit tells her the truth, things are back to normal. 

 

~ 

 

Eda and Serkan argue again. Later, Serkan confides in Engin while Eda talks to Ceren. I like how the scenes switched back and forth… I can’t wait to see what the next episode brings.
