Before We Begin
I have been meaning to watch Sen Çal Kapımı for almost a year. The problem is, I found a website which had listed all key events and the detailed article spoiled it for me. I mean, this drama goes through some pretty bizarre twists and turns. Besides, this drama has two seasons. It is never a good idea. I watched Emergency Pyar, and they could not maintain the contniuity of the two seasons. All I’m saying is, I have my apprehensions about this dizi.
But then, last week, I saw a few Urdu dubbed episodes of the drama, and I thought–why not?
Alright, with the basics established, let get to the episode.
Sen Çal Kapımı Episode 9 Written Review & Update
Part 9.1
Eda presenting Serkan the evidence; his confession. She gives the ring back and walks out.
Engin is following Ceren’s instructions to woo Piril. Opting for reverse psychology isn’t working well, though. Piril is clearly interested in Engin and asks him out for lunch and dinner, but Engin refuses both times. This is so crazy.

Since Ferit now knows how Selin feels about Serkan. He’s cold towards Selin while Selin tries to work things out. I like how the power game is reversed.

Eda is heartbroken, and it breaks my heart as well.
Serkan and Eda are madly in love with each other, but they are not aware of their own feelings. Serkan goes out of his way to find Eda just to sort things out.
And how did he do that?
Using the handcuffs, that’s how. He takes Eda to his house in the country while they are constantly handcuffed. Eda is mad at first and breaks many things. At last, she calms down. Now, we are bound to see some romance. Can’t wait…
Part 9.2
So, Serkan has handcuffed Eda and has taken her to his cottage in the countryside. Eda has calmed down now and we see sweet moments just as we expect. Eda expects Serkan to apologize but he brings up Kaan. Eda is mad AF, and takes off. Serkan follows her out in the rain and pulls her to himself. Sweet moments, but then Serkan leaves Eda alone per her wish.
Serkan comes back, Eda sprays him with pepper spray thinking he’s an intruder. Funny!!! Long story short, they sleep in the same bed and wake up very close to each other.
Back home, the girls are worried and meet Eyden, this makes things weirder than it already is. They soon learn that Eda and Serkan have spent the night in the same house.
Engin, Ertikan, Ferit and Serkan go and play pool; the girls Melo, Ceren, Fifi and Eda to fishing. Nice montage of nice time.
Seyfi taunts Serkan and then shows footage of Eda leading Eyden outside the estate gates. Serkan tears up. so sweet!

Part 9.3
Now that Serkan knows what Eda did to help Eyden step out of the estate. He’s touched and impressed yet again by just how much positive change Eda brings in his life.
Serkan puts his feet in the pool next to his mom.
“Shall we try to go outside the gates? I’m with you, mom. I think it’s time to talk about my brother. Things are changing around us.” Serkan asks Eyden.
Eyden isn’t ready yet, but we know she would soon conquer her fear. Very moving mother-son scene.

Serkan comes back and watches the mood mug change colour. He calls Eda. We can see tears in his eyes.
“Can I pick you up tomorrow on our last day?”
Sweet. this is what we call a sweet burn romance.

Ertikan is impressed by Ferit. This gives Ferit a chance to strengthen his position in the Holdings.

So, for the past two three episodes, we see Piril asking Engin for a coffee or dinner or something and Engin keeps shooting Piril down with an excuse. Engin has had enough. He tells Ceren that he wants different things. The next thing we know, Engin asks Piril:
“Will you have dinner with me?”
Piril agrees. I was hoping she would also give some excuse but I guess she really likes Engin.
Ceren helps Engin prepare things for dinner. She even sets the tavle beautifully. She lights candles on the dinner table:
“Candles make it romantic…” Ceren tells Engin.
Engin is suddenly mesmerized by her. Ceren even tells Engin on how to impress Piril. Or should I say she is hitting on Engin? I didn’t like it.
Engin is so overwhelmed by this subtle flirtation that he takes off. This man is at flight risk.

Engin is pleasantly surprised to see Eda in Serkan’s office. The scene showed how much people know Serkna, but it also showed just how gorgeous Serkan’s office is. I’d love to have an office like that.
Serkan drops Eda home for the last time. Eda has had enough now. She flips out.
“You couldn’t even say, ‘Eda, I’m sorry. I made a mistake.’” she snaps.

This is when Serkan realizes what he needs to do to win Eda back. I’m excited to see what he does.

Part 9.4
Engin has disappeared. Piril comes come and is severely disappointed to see Ceren. There is a little awkward conversation but then the two women enjoy the meal.
And where is Engin? He’s at Serkan’s house to discuss his confusion about two women interested in her (he is interested in both of them).
Serkan doesn’t even listen to Engin because he has his own worries–find the perfect way to apologize to Eda.
Engin comes up with a brilliant idea.
“You need to apologize to Eda in person—not in a letter. Also buy her something nice.”
And that gives Serkan the idea. He just knows how to apologize to Eda.

As Serkan knows Eda’s love for flowers, he goes to Ayfer’s shop and puts together a terrarium for Eda. Ayfer helps with her commentary and suggests writing a note as well.
Eda is touched to see the terrarium.
“Fairy girl, can you forgive me?”
Eda is back in Serkan’s office. The way they smile at each other, just 💖
Serkan: “You’ll stay? You promise?”
Eda: “Promise.”
Serkan gives her the ring back.
Their sweet moment is interrupted by Selin and Ferit. They come in and see Serkan and Eda lost into each other’s eyes.
“We’ve made a decision. We’re getting married. In a week.” Selin says.
