Alright, let’s begin with review of İlişki Durumu: Karışık – Bolum 2. For those who don’t understand Turkish, this is my review of Relationship Status: Complicated – Episode 2.

PLOT SUMMARY & MY COMMENTARY
So, Can declares that he loves Aysegul. To cover up his extravagant lie, Can proposes a paper marriage. This will help him get away from paparazzi and scandals. Aysegul agrees because he promises to give her the one thing she wants the most – her house.
They get married and Can plays the perfect balance. There is some flirting as a pretend husband. Then, he switches gears and behaves like the strict boss he is.
Aysegul’s expressions are to die for. She makes faces as he speaks and gives her orders to do homely chores. It is so cute.
Efe and Ece find out about the engagement & Efe suggests that they should meet Aysegul but Ece does not agree. On the other hand, Aysegul is forced to meets Can’s parents. Can does not have a very cordial relationship with his father Tehsin. In turn, Tehsin is not too keen to meet Aysegul. Mediha is hostile towards Aysegul and makes fun of her. However, Can’s grandfather Ismail immediately likes Aysegul . He also mocks Maliha for her humble pasts, just so she would stop humiliating Aysegul.
Aysegul gets cold feet a day before marriage, leaves the house and hides at Efe and Ece’s house. Efe, however, lies to her again and takes her to the wedding venue.
They get married and Aysegul surprises everyone by dancing, adding to Mediha’s dislike for her.
Soon, the honeymoon begins. They go out on a yacht. This is a new lifestyle for Aysegul and Can teases her sick, from forcing her to sleep on the floor to riding a bicycle. It makes for a very enjoyable watch and occasionally, making cute tiny romantic moments for us viewers.
Elif isn’t happy with the photoshoot and calls Can for help but he refuses.Can tells Aysegul that he has a gift for Aysegul. Aysegul gets excited to see the car but no, her gift is actually a brand new bicycle.Can and Aysegul are having a cozy time as she learns to ride the bicycle.
Adorable, isn’t it? Let’s all do it collectively. Awwwn!
The moment does not last for long, as the evil princess makes an entry. Elif sees them together, seething in anger.
