Aasmanon Pe Likha
Aasmanon Pay Likha (Urdu: آسمانوں پہ لکھا) (meaning Written on the Skies) is a 2013 TV show that aired on Geo Entertainment television. It stars Sajal Ali and Sheheryar Munawar in lead roles.
Qudsia (Sajal Ali) is a middle-class girl who dreams of a simple married life. Unfortunately, her in-laws demand a hefty sum of dowry. Qudsia’s family were not able to pay the dowry. Her father eventually has a heart attack after getting insulted. Aaliyan (Sheheryar Munawar), who has come to attend his employee’s daughter’s wedding, ends up marrying Qudsia.

Sultan’s Ultimatum
Sultan, Rana and grandma discuss Qudsiya. They all want that Aliyan should divorce the girl.
“I’m going to Malaysia. She should be gone when I come back,” Sultan says.
Aliyan brings Qudsiya to the hospital and leaves. Later, Zaheer demands to see his damaad Aliyan. Qudsiya calls and requests but he says no.
He comes though, Zaheer is happy to see him.

Aliyan’s Generosity
While Aliyan at the hospital, Qudsiya and Abda discuss that Zaheer’s company has refused to pay the bills. Aliyan overhears this and fixes the situation; y’know, because he’s the boss.
When Aliyan comes home, he sees Sultan. Sultan isn’t happy with Aliyan for rolling back his decision to not pay Zaheer’s medical bills. He threatens to limit the authority and Aliyan reminds of his shares in the company. That’s funny. I mean, I like the dynamics between this father and son.

Proposal for Afiya
Shaheen brings Atif’s (or is it Adil?) proposal for Afiya. Afiya once liked Atif but now she isn’t very thrilled. Abda, however is relieved that uska ek aur bojh kam ho gaya. Seriously, mothers like Abda make the whole motherkind a shame..
“Don’t rush into the marriage,” Shaheen says. They are greedy and it’s evident.

The “Farz”
Qudsiya calls to seek permission to stay at the hospital because it’s her farz. Sweet moment. Grandma tells Aliyan how much trouble he has caused for Qudsiya.
Later, Aliyan tries to explain that he has no feelings for Qudsiya.
Aliyan: I went to see him because he is my employee
Daddo: Would you do this for all employees?
Aliyan: At least as much as I could.
Shehryar, pretty boy…. how handsome he is…
