PS: I’m not happy with the screenshot but it was the best I could do. I haven’t brought my headphones here (I’m in Pune) and can’t watch the usual way (on my android phone) so had to watch on laptop and it wasn’t behaving nicely.
A new drama by Umera Ahmed. That’s all I want to say.

Dar-e-Nijaat Episode 10 Written Update And Review
The News Break
Zaryab talks to Taniya: Taniya tells about the Faryal-Shuja phadda, Zaryab talks about Zamil.
The scene switches to Faryal, Shamsa and Habib. They argue among themselves and then decide to “wait and watch”.
Exhausted Habib comes to talk to Kishwar. Kishwar suggests a patchup but Habib doesn’t want to “bend” like the fathers in the old times.
Then comes the divorce letter.
And Faryal isn’t happy. Why?
Faryal is expecting, and doesn’t want the divorce. Ab kya hoga?
The Nice Side
Abu Bakar comes home to surprise Khushbakht. Khushbakht surprises by suggesting a proposal. She has almost finalized everything. Abu Bakar isn’t happy about this but he still entertains his mother, knowing where Khushbakht’s fears coming from.
I liked how they placed ludo and had a very nice, cozy, tender moment.
Z & Z
Zamil leaves to uni without Zaryab.
Zamil: I was getting late.
I think I like this Zamil, the one who doesn’t give two hoots about anything… But if he’s doing that in the name of being a practicing muslim, it’s wrong. Abu Bakar is also a practicing muslim, and he doesn’t even say a word to strangers, let alone his own mother. He puts his foot down when he’s being wronged, but he’s so polite otherwise.
When he comes back home, he is still rude to Zaryab, ignores her.
~
Zamil wants to change his subjects: from MBA to comparative studies of religions. He wants to be a scholar, because an educated scholar can do tableegh better. Zamil’s basic ideologies are on correct path but he’s not crystal clear in his head about what he wants.
He suggests Zaryab to start offering namaz; she mocks him for being a newbie at namaz etc. He talks about his fantasy of an obedient wife, and she mocks him for having a simple fantasy.
I hate Zaryab. I think that’s by design. We are expected to hate her.
Is Zamil fighting some battle inside? Why can’t he take a stand and say that he doesn’t want to live with Zaryab? Itni duvidha mein kyun hai woh? Why doesn’t he mind wheb Zaryab walks hand-in-hand with him? If he feels guilty of his sins, why doesn’t he do tauba? I’m sure we’ll have some answers in the coming episodes.
