Muamma Episode 23 Written Update and Review

Jahan Aara seeking validation, that poor thing…
Upset by Mahira’s apt observation that “you have no right to break up people like this”, Jahan Aara needs validation. First, she calls Zara and asks if she feels the same way. Zara is still under the influence so she’s all gaga about Jahan Aara and her kindness.
That praise doesn’t satisfy Jahan Aara. She is now all set to break up Shahjahan Shaukat and Ayeza (she changed her mind about renting the house because apparently she needs money: there were several small bits that led to this decision, unimportant). The first day of this tenant moving in, she sends tea for them as is her game. And then she watches from the secret room. Shahjahan doesn’t want that tea.
Mujhe toh tumhare hath ki chai peeni hai.
And they pour the tea down the sink. Yikes! Chai ki aisi naqadri?
It reminds Jahan Aara of how her Shahjahan used to do the same. Hurt, twice.
And then next day, she’s all made up and in the garden. Shahjahan doesn’t even look at Jahan Aara. He has eyes only for his wife. Jahan Aara pretends to faint, Ayeza brings nimbu pani (which we see her making, from scratch). Jahan Aara reveals that she knows the couple didn’t drink tea (inviting suspicion thusly, how does she know?). Also, she takes the moral high road:
Allah ki nemat ki naqadri ki hai tum logo ne.
I was so mad at her. Yes, I felt the same but this doesn’t go well with her, the person who’s doing all wrong things and thinks she’s the messiah of this world. Trying to show others how nobel she is. Uncomfortable scene? You bet.
And her fake bravado upon learning what Sarfaraz did to their mother. It was like a wounded lioness who wouldn’t admit defeat, which kinds felt comical to me.
Now, she’s hell bent on separating Sarfaraz and Rukhsana. Also, side note, Sajal is suspicious of Naveed and Jahan Aara. Hmmm… I would like to see more of that.
