Usman Chaudhry is a Pakistani actor who will be part of Sohail Ahmad‘s upcoming drama Jeevan Nagar.
Jeevan Nagar is in the news because Sohail Ahmed is making his TV comeback after 8 years. I had the opportunity to interview Usman briefly.

Assalamu alaikum Usman,
Shabana Mukhtar: Tell us something about you, and how did your acting journey begin?
Usman Chaudhry: My name is Usman Chaudhry. I have started acting in 2014 from Ajoka theatre, Pakistan. Since then, I have performed in 400 theatre plays across the world. I also have 15 TV serials to my credit. I have been part of some major plays such as Gulfam, Rishtay, Dil Na Umeed ToH NahiN, Sandy Mandy season 2 and season 3.
Shabana Mukhtar: That is very impressive. We would like to know more about your upcoming drama Jeevan Nagar. When does it air? Who is the writer? Who is directing?
Usman Chaudhry: Jeevan Nagar will go live on Green TV, a new channel launched date in October 2022. The drama is expected to release in November 2022 under the banner of Q&K Production. Acclaimed director Kashif Nisaar is directing Jeevan Nagar.

Shabana Mukhtar: What character do you play?
Usman Chaudhry: I play an important character named BAGGA. He is very cool and calm and very obedient to his master.
He can do anything for his boss.
Shabana Mukhtar: That sounds very interesting. Is it easier to play a character or to be yourself?
Usman Chaudhry: Acting is not easy at all. To play any role, you need to work on it hard to indulge into it.
Shabana Mukhtar: Did you take up any training in acting?
Shabana Mukhtar: Who is your inspiration?
Usman Chaudhry: I can not take a single name as my inspiration I always try to learn new things from everyone around me …
Shabana Mukhtar: What do you love about this character?
Usman Chaudhry: I liked my character because Bagga is very loyal to his master and can do anything on his signal.
Shabana Mukhtar: Could you tell us about your colleagues? How was your experience working with them?
Usman Chaudhry: I had great experience of working with my colleagues, and I try every time to learn new things from my colleagues.
Shabana Mukhtar: Other than acting, what are your passions and hobbies?
Usman Chaudhry: Other then acting, I use to play cricket.. but now can not find enough time to practice it.

Shabana Mukhtar: That’s great. Lastly, are there any other dramas or projects that you are working on? It’s okay if you can’t talk about them right now.
Usman Chaudhry: My upcoming plays are Jeevan Nagar, Kabuli Pulao and Breaking News … Kashif Nisaar is directing these plays.
Another play Qalandar is due to release soon, directed by Saima Wasim. Qalandar is a 7th Sky production that will go on air in March 2023.
