Daasi | Episode 23

Let’s review the 23rd episode of Daasi. Read previous episodes’ reviews.

Plot Summary & Review  Rubab makes a big fuss when she sees Sunehri. Of course, seeing her in bridal dress will obviously raise suspicions.

She threatens to leave the house if he doesn’t leave Sunehri. But, wait, there’s more. She’s a businesswoman and strategizing is her second nature. So, she asks Irma to publicize her association with Aahil so the world knows.

Aliya forms an alliance with Shahabuddin. They suit each other well, don’t they? Aadil is not blind. He questions Aliya. It doesn’t go well because Aliya is…well… Aliya.

While Shahabuddin threatens Khaleda, Aadil is nowhere to be seen..and, who has caused this confrontation? Aliya… She witnesses everything. Shahabuddin kills Sunehri’s mother.

When Aadil finds out about her and calls Aliya, she still taunts her. Who does that? Does she have any moral values? She hated Sunehri but Khaleda didn’t do anything wrong to her. Nor did Sunehri but…

It’s a police case… Aadil calls Aahil to being Sunehri to the hospital. And, asks for financial help.

As the police investigates the case, Aliya intervenes and conveniently makes it an “accident”. The policeman is a mean one and asks personal and accusing questions. Aahil interrupts him, and their private conversation fixes the problem.

Aliya then calls Rubab and tells her the whole story. Again, why? It started with her illusion that Aahil likes her and look where the hatred has taken her? Someone’s life is at risk.

Rubab is talking to herself, thinking that Aahil has betrayed her, just like Salahuddin. That’s where the episode ends.
Parting ThoughtsThat’s was my take on this episode. Until next review, stay blessed.

Parting Thoughts

This drama is suffocating. I mean… The storyline is okay, but I don’t like such evil characters. They bother me.

Aliya and Shahabuddin have the most casual attitude for their criminal acts. It just… It is awful. I also feel such strong negative characters should not be portrayed on screen.

That’s was my take on this episode. Until next review, stay blessed.
