Daasi | Episode 26

Aahil asks Manzoor to so something as loud and annoying background score plays. Decorating the annexe, that’s what he has done.

Aliya is expecting. She may not know it yet, because she’s busy plotting against Sunehri. She spends a big amount to bail out Shahabuddin.

Furqan Qureshi as Aadil is the best performer in this drama. I am wondering when will he find out just how evil Aliya is.

So is Rubab. She offers a blank cheque to Sunehri to leave Aahil alone. The woman is losing her mind. She dreams about Sunehri and is paranoid that she will steal Aahil from her. What? Really, what?

Aahil walks out of his engagement to take Sunehri to the doctor. How convenient!

Tauqeer is pissed but Irma still has faith in Aahil. She even goes to the hospital to see Sunehri. Bhai waah!

Outraged, Rubab fires the woman who informed Aahil about Sunehri’s unconscious state.

Aliya now knows about her pregnancy and seems to regret her actions. I hope she has a redemption arc.

I particularly like the scene when she finds out the subtle way Aadil takes care of her.

 Parting Thoughts
This drama is getting louder and boring by each episode.

Some scenes seemed out of sequence and the engagement scene was quite tacky. Except for Rubab who looks ravishing.

With two dramas over Alif (24 episodes) and Ehd-e-Wafa (25 episodes), I can’t help but wonder – how long is Daasi going to be? A couple more episodes?

Now, Aliya is busy otherwise so Rubab bails out Shahabuddin.
