Aik Sitam Aur Episode 29 Written Update & Review
This episode was madness, utter and absolute madness. I had watched this episode as soon as it aired (that’s a first), but it was quite overwhelming, as a lot of things happened in this episode. I was so overwhelmed that I parked it aside for review. Here it is, 17 hours later, the story of Aik Sitam Aur episode 29.
Mehnaz encourages Huzaifa to pull up his socks and do everything in his power to woo Ushna. Huzaifa agrees wholeheartedly.
Raeesa will go to any length to “get” Ushna and Sufiyan married. She calls Ushna, tells her about Sufiyan’s attempt of suicide, and pretends to be scared of his actions and his current state. Ushna, being the silly girl that she is, falls into this trap.
Ushna comes home to talk to Sufiyan. While she’s talking, Sufiyan holds her hand. Sadaf, who’s sneaking outside, clicks several pictures of them and sends the pictures to Shehroz. What Shehroz did in reaction to this, I will come to that later. But first, let me give me two cents about Raeesa and Mehnaz.
It’s mothers like Raeesa and Mehnaz who have turned our desi men into the creature they are today. They can’t take no for an answer because they are raised in a way that they get everything they want. They don’t learn to think about consent, or consideration of others.

Shehroz loses his temper when he sees the pictures. He shows the picture to everyone, demanding Zainab of Ushna’s whereabouts. Ushna comes home to find them arguing. Without knowing the background, she just jumps into the argument. She does that often, but this time, she gets a slap from her mother in response. She deserved it, and I was so happy. Dil vich thand pai gayi.
I have a problem with Ushna. She thinks that she’s the best, and she doesn’t take advice from others. In this case, for instance, she went to see Sufiyan without even asking her mother. The consequences have landed her and her family in trouble now.
Anywho, Rafaqat also calls Zainab and quite calmly asks her to agree for Sufiyan and Ushna’s marriage. Zainab arrogantly says no, and Rafaqat more arrogantly threatens Zainab. This scene was solely designed for Shahood Alvi. His controlled phone talk was so so good. I was wide-eyed during that scene. Without raising his voice, he nailed the villain part. Loved the scene, and loved his performance in it.
Now, how will Naeema convince Shehroz to marry Ushna?
