Aik Sitam Aur Episode 41 Written Update & Review
The protective mother
As I mentioned earlier, this drama is reduced to a sautan-rivarly now, and I don’t like it much. Most of this episode was just about Naeema fuming at Zainab and ill-talking to her kinda sorta blaming it all on Ushna and Zainab. She even asks Shehroz to leave Ushna, and Shehroz is like: no way Ma. I’m not leaving my wife.
I like that he took a stand for Ushna, but Naeema wouldn’t relent so easy, I know that as well.
As if Naeema didn’t have enough reasons to bicker, she sees Sufiyan’s call on Ushna’s phone.
“Why is he calling you? Why don’t you block his number?” Naeema asks Ushna.
I may not agree with Naeema’s sudden mood and behavior change, but I have the same question: Why doesn’t Ushna block Sufiyan’s number? I block numbers after one call. Why is she entertaining the stalking, threatening, blackmailing guy for so long?
The possessive husband
Anywho! Shehroz hears this and is mighty pissed, and rightly so. He is just falling in love with his wife. How could he tolerate someone calling Ushna. Heck, he confronted Sufiyan even before the marriage.
Shehroz takes his gun and goes to confront Sufiyan. Another drama ensues (too loud for my liking). But nothing happens. Later, Shehroz snaps at Ushna for no reason. On the other hand, Raeesa is happy that this “barging in and threatening with a gun” will help their case.
The man Sufiyan had hired to shoot at Shehroz is now asking for more money. He is blackmailing Sufiyan, and I was like: iss tarah toh hota hai iss tarah ke kaamon mein.
This episode was too loud and intense for me. The only light moment was when Shehroz arranged for some flowers for Ushna to apologize to her and confess his love to her. Very sweet but this scene was too little compared to the rest of the episode.
I had drafted 50 episodes for this drama. So far, it looks like it might wrap up till then. If not, I would not be happy to extend the series. The romance and fun has disapeared from this series, and I am no longer thrilled to watch it.
Let’s see if it recovers the old charm in coming episodes. Until then…
