Chauraha: Introduction
Hailing from a middle-class family, Zoya is a young and naive girl who after the death of her father lives with her mother and aunt. Zoya’s mother, Shireen longs for her daughter to complete her studies and become independent. On the contrary, Zoya’s young and immature mind begins to be polluted under peer pressure and social media. Embarrassed about her lifestyle, Zoya tries to create a fake online persona that marks the beginning of countless troubles that await in her life.
Through social media, Zoya comes across Junaid who hails from a respectable family however little does anyone is aware of his dark side. Zoya’s naive and inane nature becomes an easy target for Junaid as he eventually succeeds in trapping her with his web of lies and deceit. Despite all the mishaps and troubles that Zoya encounters, will she be able to realize the gravity of the situation? Will Junaid ever pay the price of his wrongdoings?

Chauraha Episode 7 Written Update & Review
Junaid calls Shireen and phupho to remind about ransom. Phupho, in response, video calls Junaid and shows him just how poor they are. Now, Junaid starts to think. He has picked up a girl without enquiring about Zoya’s financial background.

Junaid decides to leave Zoya later that day. He leaves Zoya in custody of his three goon friends. These peeps aren’t good people, we can see. Would Junaid arrive just in time to save Zoya?

Shireen and phupho ask Saleem for help. On the other hand, Arsal and his mother are nosy and taking more interest in Zoya’s matter than needed. Junaid beats the shit out of his three friends and take Zoya home. As Junaid drops Zoya, Zoya curses that his sister also faces the same date. Foreshadowing, huh?
Shireen and phupho are relieved to see Zoya z especially when she tells that nothing “wrong” happened to her.

Junaid comes home to find his sister with her beau Nasir. O teri. Junaid loses his temper just as we expect. Uski dhamkiyan, ufff.

Review
Madiha Imam’s poor acting sticks out like sour thumb in this drama. Even Areesha acts better than Madiha. Bushra Ansari is also a bit over. Behroz Sabzwari, Saba Hameed and Mikal Zulfiqar ace their roles.
