Let’s review the latest episode of Qissa Meherbano Ka. It’s based on Fakhra Jabeen’s short story Ujalon Ki Basti. You can read the story here, and my review is here. The drama is quite different from the story itself, so don’t be disheartened by my review even if it has some spoilers.
The first episode had me sufficiently intrigued, and I’ve decided to give this drama a go. Here’s me with my review-slash-rant about the second episode.
Qissa Meherbano Ka Episode 8 Written Review
Professor Asghar Ali Mehtab is talking to Mehrbano. She hides many a things from her father. Noor has called Mehrbano from Mehran’s phone, so now Mehran has Mehrbano’s number.
Poor Mehran… And poor Noor… Nobody understands their true feelings. I also like their chemistry. They are cute as friends. And I have a feeling that Mehran’s mother will see their friendship in a wrong light. I don’t understand why Noor is so energetic and happy all the time. I haven’t seen people so cheerful IRL.
Fari is just being a witch. She argues with Murad, she yells at Ayaz, she talks rubbish about Mehrbano. This drama is just too much.
The only good thing that happens is that Ayaz and Mehrbano have become friendly.
Aap khud ko akele mat samajhiyega.
