Introduction

Saima Akram Chaudhry and Danish Nawaz–the writer and director duo who gave us gems like Chupke Chupke (I quite liked it) and Hum Tum (it was hit-n-miss). This duo now brings us another romantic comedy Kaala Doriya.

Kaala Doriya is story of two families who despise each other. The guy and the girl, especially can’t tolerate each other. When they fall in love, all hell breaks loose. The shopping spree continues. Bitto chooses a dress of Tanno’s choice, Mahnoor and Asfi pick a dress for each other, this is going great. 

Dholki etc has begun thanks to Saleeqa’s insistence. Mahnoor misses the fun and calls Asfi. Asfi shows the live stream to Mahnoor. Fun times! I enjoy it… 

And the much expected scene when Asfi is smitten by Mahnoor’s beauty. It reminded of Osman Khalid Butt and Ayeza Khan in Chupke Chupke, raise hands if it did. That look of jealousy was done so nicely by Osman Khalid Butt. It was the first time I felt that he could act, he ain’t just a pretty face. And boy is he pretty. Of everyone in that Mayon function, Asfi was the prettiest. Maa Sadqay! 

And all of the fun ends when Asfi and Mahnoor are caught together getting down from the terrace.
