Missing Darling Episode 6 Written Update and Review

Alright, so investigation and personal lives progress a bit more in this episode.
Sohrab drops Maryam home and this time gets invited inside, by maryam’s mother. It was a super sweet scene, sachhi, sugar level increased after that scene. Too good. Umer and Kiran Ashfaq and TT, all did a great job in that scene. Kept it believable and yet thoda filmi.
Owais, during investigation of Naina’s mode of transport out of city, also tries to book seats for saas (so he wouldn’t pay the ticket amount).
Sajid is being sweet to his wife, and we can see that he’s putting extra effort which makes Sajid not just a good police officer but also a nice guy. Speaking of being nice, when Mehmal calls for a meeting this time, even though he agrees, he doesn’t seem very eager to meet her. When she says the reason to call him isn’t related to Naina missing, he even shows his disappointment. Mehmal has the audacity to say, “kuch ummeedein bandh gayi thhi”.
Bahen, married hai woh banda. Islam allows four marriages doesn’t mean ki kahin bhi flirt karna shuru kardo. At this point, obviously, she seems somehow involved in Naina’s gumshudgi.
Anywho, to get Mehmal talk, Sajid has to say some shayari.
تیرا چپ رہنا میرے ذہن میں کیا بیٹھ گیا
اتنی آوازیں دیں کہ گلا میرا بیٹھ گیا
بزم جاناں میں نشستیں نہیں ہوتیں مخصوص
جو بھی اک بار جہاں بیٹھ گیا بیٹھ گیا
Which obviously reminds me of:
حضرت داغ جہاں بیٹھ گئے بیٹھ گئے
Those verses seemed unrelated to the situation if you ask me.
Anywho, Mehmal has some situation that can be solved with police’s help but Sajid offers to help without filing an FIR. I felt that he’s intentionally giving Mehmal “bhao”. He’s not planning to cheat on his wife, I’m not saying that. Kahin kuch gadbad hai Daya.
Investigation continues as YouTube guy comes forward with more information, Sohrab finds out that a guy stole Naina’s phone when she was arguing with the tharki director. The spotboy was caught just as he was readying to leave for Lahore. He admits of liking Naina, stealing her phone, checking her messages and even being logged in using Naina’s WhatsApp number. And that Naina had something going on with Sikandar Khan, the actor.
And now we wait to see who that is. I’m guessing Mohib, because he has not appeared yet on the episode.
On side note, the rider who has bought Naina’s stolen phone, presumably unknowingly, has delivered food to Owais’ home. Is there a connection somehow? I’d love to see that.
So far, we have many suspects.
Spotboy because… obviously.
Mehmal: she could be there just for distracting Sajid.
Assistant director: he has appeared way too many times to be NOT involved.
And now Sikandar Khan…
Interesting, very interesting. I finally have a drama I look forward to watching. Isn’t that sad? I watch drama every day.
