Naina’s Phone
So, the last episode ended as we learned that Darling’s phone is switched on.
In this episode, Sohrab finds out that the phone is sold to someone. Sohrab and Owais are tracing the new owner now.
Flirting On
Sajid comes to see Mehmal, the girl who informed about shady director.
Assistant director: sorry Maine aapko pechana nahin
Sajid: pehchanoge kaise. Hum kaunse Humayun Saeed hain
Mehmal has been hitting on Sajid since first meeting. By the way, whatever they discussed, Sajid could have talked to her over phone as wellm Milne ki kya zaroorat thhi?
Tiktok Background
One of the guys on set makes tiktok and kinda creepy. He used to work with Naina Kashif.
Investigation
The guy who sold stolen phone to shopkeeper is caught. He works for Kaliya aka Maalik who is too cunning. But he does realize that kidnapping a girl is way out of his league. He questions his gurgas about the mobile theft. One guy suggests talking to kids who are forced to work as beggars. I like that we’re not shown every scene like Maalik talking to the kid. Directly Sajid and Maalik meet and Sajid takes the kid to the location where mobile was found.
Owais and his wife use Owais’ police uniform to their advantage, exploit innocent people. I hope he gets caught sooner rather than later.
False Alarm?
There’s a viral video of a guy Agha claiming that he did this to Darling. He calls it Agha ka Insaaf
The episode ends as someone comes to take Maalik with him. Who is that? A cop? A rogue cop? Ek aur gandi machhli?
Review
I’d just like to mention that Maryam’s mother looks quite like her, the casting is on point. Also, Maryam’s personal story is also very interesting. Like police ho kar bhi uska wahi ghum hai: tumhari shaadi nahin huyi ab tak?
So far, this series is doing great in terms of tying old loose thread and spinning off new subplots. It is so unlike Dr Bahu where one topic doesn’t end properly and a new one begins.
