Let’s review Episode 10 of Pyar Ke Sadqay, my favourite drama these days – now that Ehd-e-Wafa is over.
So, the recovery team led by Mahjabeen, arrives Dr Hammad’s house.
After a super fun encounter and Mahjabeen’s life threatening strangulation to Nilo, the mission is successful.
She also forced Nilo to shoot a video while Abdullah recites 200’s table.
I like how Mahjabeen takes control of the situation. Perhaps Abdullah would also like this characteristic.
Who’s the man at the back?
Mahjabeen is now obsessed about Facebook likes for the video. She rants on and on, so Munshi tells Abdullah about Mahjabeen’s study record. Munshi gets hyper, Abdullah’s confusion multiplies and Munshi makes a sweeping declaration: that she cannot be trusted.
And, then he slaps her.
He tells Abdullah: You will leave her here one day.
Although he says those words, he clearly wishes the opposite. He looks at Abdullah with expectations. Abdullah does not disappoint him. He promises that he will never be tired of her shannanigans and will never leave her.
Does Mahjabeen change her ways? No. She lies again, about being hurt, due to that one slap.
Sarwar sees Mahjabeen in his house. Of course, he is surprised. And then the bomb drops.
Look at his face.
دل کے ارماں آنسوؤں میں بہہ گئے
Abdullah is worried about Sarwar and Mahjabeen is worried about her reputation in her mohalla – what will people say if she is divorced.
The girl mentions talaq so casually. It worries me.
Abdullah and Mansoora try to talk to Sarwar (pamper him, if you will). They don’t know that Sarwar is upset for his crushed dreams. Mahjabeen jumps in the conversation and promises to do khidmat, to do whatever it takes to please him.
That’s a very open-ended promise you made there, girl. You are so going to regret it.
Abdullah isn’t happy about her interrupting their conversation. He calls her duffer, stupid etc. She retaliates, he apologizes. Cute moments.
Sarwar later makes fun of Abdullah and Mahjabeen and forced him to promise that he will leave Mahjabeen if Sarwar asks him to. Abdullah agrees. He is crazy, but I thought he has at least some common sense.
This drama just got serious. And I can sense tragedy right around the corner.
Yumna Zaidi is so good, so very good in that scene when she cries nonstop.
Can’t wait for next episode.
