Yunhi Episode 33 Written Update & Review

Assalam Alaikum, dramatic lovers!

This is your host, Shabana Mukhtar, bringing you the delightful recap and review of the most recent episode of “Yunhi”.

In the latest episode of “Yunhi,” we finally inch towards the finale. This episode is the second last episode, so mark your calendars for the next Sunday.

Iqbal and Zulfi’s HEA

Alright, so the old couples love story has reached the pinnacle of happily ever after. We see them talk poetically. Sigh!

Kim and Dawood’s Continued Cold War

Kim is packing when Dawood enters the room.

Dawood: I will send you the divorce papers.
Kim: you’re in a rush.

Dawood offers to drop Kim to the airport, but both are still too arrogant to admit their mistakes. Correction, Kim is too arrogant to admit her mistakes. Dawood tries to take Kim’s bag but she’s like: I can pick my own bag.

Bas bhi yaar!

Oh, and by the way, this just be the 51st scene when they do this.

Basharat’s Heart Problem

While this is going on, Suraiya barges in, Basharat has had a heart attack. He is rushed to the hospital and Kim misses her flight. Dawood still offers to order a cab for Kim.

Kim: do you think I’m so insensitive to leave my husband’s family in this condition?

~

Some flashbacks

Everyone recall their moments with Basharat, also reminiscing of their times with Basharat. Suraiya recalls her conversation when Basharat gave her the confidence to speak her mind, Dada Ji remembers how Basharat stood up for Suraiya and Iqbal.

Kim’s Change

Kim takes control of the household while everyone else is kinda grieving. The sweetest moment is when she takes the scarf on her head while taking the tiffin to the hospital.

She arrives to see Dawood with his classmate Dr Shiza. I’m not sure if I got her name right.

Iqbal’s Courageous Decision

Basharat has taken some orders that need to be completed. Dada Ji isn’t keeping well, so someone needs to go to the workshop. And guess who steps up? Iqbal. The way she convinces her father to allow her was kinda nice.

The Kim Factor

Mudassar, Firdaus and Husna come to the hospital. Mudassar is being Mudassar but Kim has a befitting reply for him, always.

The episode ends as Kim politely refuses Basharat’s plea to stay over.

Kim: I would have stayed, but now I can’t.

Hint: because she thinks that Dawood is interested in someone else. That has to be the most cliched final conflict but that also works most of the time. Don’t you think?

Review

I can’t say how thrilled I am to see this heading towards an end. The leads story has been moving in circles for a while. Its time for a finale in a week, yuppie.

That’s my take on the episode. What did you think of this episode?
