Introduction
Tere Bin is a new drama on HAR PAL GEO (Well, it’s not that new). Here’s a snippet from Geo’s official YouTube channel.
Meerab is an ambitious and beautiful young girl who wants to pursue higher studies. Her entire world revolves around her parents and she believes in them the most. Her strong and confident personality makes her stand against social injustices around her.
On the contrary, Murtasim hails from a powerful and influential family. He respects and values the morals and traditions of his family and refuses to let the family down.
Meerab’s life takes an unexpected turn when she finds out about her family’s decision regarding her and Murtasim’s life. Meerab’s hatred towards Murtasim continues to grow as a family secret from the past resurfaces. Coming from different backgrounds and mindsets, Murtasim begins to realize Meerab’s arrogant behaviour towards him and begins to consider her a challenge for himself. On the other hand, Meerab who is used to living her life on her own terms refuses to accept Murtasim’s family traditions and unnecessary social barriers.
Soon their lives go through a series of emotional sufferings and misunderstandings where it becomes difficult for them to coexist. Despite their hatred towards each other, will Meerab and Murtasim accept their true feelings or will the dynamics of ego and self-respect force them to stay apart?

Tere Bin Episode 34 Written Update and Review
Assalam Alaikum guys, it’s your favorite drama addict Shabana Mukhtar, and I’m back with a review of the latest episode of “Tere Bin”.
Meerub’s attempt
Meerub tries to talk to Murtasim but he is heading out for some work. Since that conversation is stuck, Meerub then talks to Salma Begum. Meerub takes Salma Begum’s example to explain how Meerub was unhappy with her marriage and that Maryam was unhappy with Naurez’s proposal.
Maryam’s facade
Salma Begum asks Maryam directly, but she also reminds Maryam of her sacrifices and how difficult it was to raise her. Cornered by this emotional blackmail, Maryam says she has no objection.
Spineless she is! Why did she start an affair with Anas if she had no way to convince her mother? Argh, rolling my eyes.
Some #Meerasim
And then there was that slow-mo scene as Murtasim looks after Meerub.
This scene was alright. What I liked the best was when the duo woke up. I particularly loved how Murtasim said: Shut up. His taunts, his slightly formal tone, everything was so perfect for the scene. Also, he remembered that Meerub wanted to talk about something. Now, that’s a quality you want in your man because this species just can’t remember things.
The moment of truth
Anywho, so finally Meerub tells Murtasim that Maryam likes someone else. At the same time, Naurez meets Maryam and tells her everything Haya has said.
This was the moment of truth for Maryam and she JUST loses it. She slaps Haya. Now, I don’t endorse violence, nor do I want to encourage any kinda abuse and all but boy was I thrilled when Maryam slapped Haya. This was so long overdue. Someone had do this for the past 32 episodes and it happened. Thank goodness!
And then Maryam says many things. She does cross a line when she says:
“You should have died with your parents,” Maryam tells Haya.
It’s not like Haya is going to change AT ALL.
Concluding thoughts
Overall, this episode was dull. It was all background noise without much happening. I didn’t like this episode at all. I mean, The USP of “Tere Bin” is #Meerasim. But we didn’t very little of them, so…
By the way, I loved Yumna’s outfit in this episode, that soft pink one gherdaar kameez and floral dupatta.
I’m excited to see what happens next, and I’m sure you are too. Until next time, keep watching “Tere Bin” and keep coming back to my blog!
