Zanjeerain Episode 13 Written Update and Review
Zanj
Did anybody notice that this time when they were coming from Islamabad, not only did they have water but also Kanch ka glass in the car? And why did Maryam say that she wasn’t happy about Mudassir marrying Rabiya? Apart from these two small things that bothered me, the episode was nearly perfect.
This was the finest episode of this drama and that truly made me appreciate a few things that I otherwise thought were “problems”.
Second of all, I was apprehensive about Rabiya being missing and nobody able to find her. But of course, that didn’t happen. How the story would progress without main character, right? And first of all, Sar Buland handled things so well, my mind is just blown.
Sar Buland finds her immediate, brings her to the hospital, and is in full action mode. He admits Rabiya under a fictitious name, gives a fictitious relationship to him when asked, and categorically tells Gul Zaman and Hikmat Khan to never let anyone know who Rabiya is. He knows there’s still danger out and about. He isn’t just a friend who lost his best friend, he’s also a Sardar and he has responsibility of Rabiya on him. He has to honour what Mudassir asked of him. It was so beautifully portrayed in the episode.
Torsam Khan is crazy, doesn’t want to leave Islamabad even though Zumard is constantly advising against it. Zumard’s “machhar kaat rahe hain” line was so funny.
Rabiya gets better, Sar Buland gets her discharged and she doesn’t even have enough strength to ask what has happened. During the ride, though, she suddenly gets down from the car and runs. Sar Buland stops her, gets her back, and then takes her to the graveyard. Both Sajal Ali and Daniyal Zafar have performed extremely well to show their grief but Daniyal was so unexpectedly good, I rewatched som portions. Sajal, we all expect her to perform well, don’t we?
Coming back to Saniyal Zafar, Initially, I felt that his hairstyle did not suit him for a Sardar of a tribe, but now it makes sense. He hasn’t moulded into a proper sardar yet so… I do hope he gets his hairstyle changed though, more sleek and mature perhaps. Also, his outfits are too loose on him, don’t you guys think?
This episode was so good that I did not even want to write this post. I have watched the episode four hours ago, and I was only relishing how good it was. But I still can’t sleep and I must keep myself busy so thought of posting this right now. I may have more things to say. For that, I’ll update this or post a side note. Depends on my mood.
Salaam!
