Zanjeerain Episode 5 Written Update and Review

Two main events in this episode, dragged unnecessarily, if you ask me.

Mudassir brings his own proposal for Rabiya. Rabiya has objections, concerns, conditions but Mamu doesn’t let her say much.

On the other side, Torsam beats up some people on Sherdil side. They succumb to death. This enrages Sherdil. There is a confrontation and Torsam openly challenges Sherdil. What blew my mind is his audacity. First, he refuses that he did anything, then he says,

Torsam to Sherdil: “I only beat them, didn’t kill them”

… and then he says,

Torsam to the crowd: “I am not apologizing for it”.

Once, he also tried to convince Sar Buland,

Torsam to Sar Buland: “don’t believe them. I didn’t do anything”.

And then he calls his mamu:

Torsam to Zafran: I took revenge.

Sahi, Torsam, you didn’t do anything.

One smaller event was that Magul did not allow anyone to enter the kitchen when she’s cooking for Sherdil. I like her idea but I’m not sure if she’d be successful in saving Sherdil from poison. There was also a semi-emotional scene where Sherdil tells Sar Buland: “you’ll have to look after things after me.” When he was saying those words, I watched Sohrab, thinking perhaps he also wants Sherdil dead, but his face showed nothing.

Anyway, several hours after watching the episode, this is what I remember, this is what was worth writing about. So far, the drama is good. I can’t say I care much for Ahsan Khan’s forced “gambhir” voice. It affects the enunciation. Can’t hear him properly.

Peace.

P.S. This is post #7400 of our little blog.
