Review
From the first line “Bulhe Shah Zair Wekh Ke Peeta Te Keeh Peeta”, the song engulfs you in a calming and spiritual feel that only gets stronger with the soft chant of “Peer Manawan Challiyaan” in the background. This song gave me goosebumps.
What a powerful voice! And, she has such amazing control on her voice. I have more respect for her now that I have heard this one.
I heard Hadiqa the first time in the iconic (for me anyway) Zindagi Khak Na Thhi from Zindagi Gulzar Hai. And, have since liked her. I also love her rendition of Bol Ke Lab Azad Hain Tere from Udaari.

#CokeStudio12 presents Daachi Waaliya, a song that carries with it flavors of rural Punjab and the rhythm of a camel’s gait. Blending the song with Sufi verses written by Bulleh Shah and Waris Shah, Hadiqa Kiani turns this classic, folk tune into a contemplative piece on the nature of love.
