Day 1

Day 1: Nagpur

Alhamdulillah!

All the praises to the Almighty, the Exalted. Our flight has taken to the sky.

The view from the window is always so breathtaking beautiful.

Why is it that a picture taken from the airplane is never the same as the sight before you?

While sitting in the window seat and looking down, the breathtaking view before my eyes made me remember and praise Allah SWT and His creations. The dark blue skies, the shining white clouds, and the ability of naked eye to see through it until the bottom; it just amazes me. Subhan Allah!

This was the first leg of our journey. The domestic flight from Nagpur to Mumbai was late by a couple of hours. I spent every single minute of those hours praying to Allah that the flight arrives as early as possible. I checked the status of incoming flight every few minutes. We couldn’t afford to be late to Mumbai.

 

Day 1: Mumbai

The pilgrims are gathered in front of the airport, and there is only one word to describe it: Chaos. And, the above picture describes that chaos.

Some people are offering namaaz, while others are hugging their relatives before they take off. Some people are just standing in a circle questioning why they aren’t taken inside the airport, while others are bickering about how hot the weather is.

The sun has taken a shelter behind the clouds, and it’s not as sunny and humid anymore. Alhamdulillah! Allah has sent us respite from the hot weather.

Day 1: Inside Mumbai Airport

We are waiting at Gate 63. I must say, Mumbai International Airport looks exquisite.
