Dr. Bahu explores the theme of quiet control hidden behind progressive appearances. In a respected family of doctors, their youngest non-doctor son is married to a doctor—adding another accomplished daughter-in-law to a household where women are not allowed to work.
When the youngest daughter-in-law enters this world, she begins to challenge the unspoken rules, subtly shifting power and exposing buried hypocrisies.

Doctor Bahu Episode 27 Written Update and Review
Okay, so now that Ambar and Dr Shahnawaz have struck a deal, she’s leaving. She runs into Farheen. Thode taane-tishne hote hain.
~
Saniya and Salman speak on phone but Saniya doesn’t say a word to Salman about her pregnancy.

Faizan is exasperated, he wants to help Mina but she refuses. Even though it was just about a suitcase (an empty suitcase by the way, the team could have put some rocks in it at least taki baat ka bharam reh jata), things escalate.
Faizan: Mina, you’re confusing me, what do you want from me?
Mina: I’m sorry that I’m confusing you after the things you’ve done to me. Mere andar takleef itni zyada hai ki main…
And then she breaks down, like literally bawls, with siskiyan and aansu. I totally relate to her, not because someone cheated on me (Alhamdulillah, Allah ne aisi pareshaniyoN se bachaya hua hai) but just in general, sometimes, things trouble a lot, a LOT and the pain becomes unbearable. So I relate to Mina.

Dr Shahnawaz shows his soft side, one of the rare ones, and says he’s going to miss Mina, and will always be there for her. Mina just walks out. Uncle ka munh dekhne wala thha.

Dr Shahnawaz learns that Dr Rubina is doing some project with Qatar governmen and he doesn’t like it. At this point, I don’t know if

Saniya finally breaks the news to Salman, and they argue over the pregnancy. Inki talaq honi chahiye, re. Mujhe inko dekh ke ghabrahat hoti hai. Ahmad will then marry Saniya but she’s going to ruin Ahmad’s peaceful life as well.
~
Dr Shahnawaz comes to talk to Dr Rubina. And then truth unveils, Farheen overhears everything. She asks Rubina: how to be like you?
And then there’s some philosophy from Rubina. All said and done, I feel for Farheen. She didn’t deserve this.
~
As always, Hajra Yamin steals the scene with her performance. I don’t think it is just her character, it is her portrayal that makes her extremely relatable. I fail to empathize with Saniya, to be honest, and I think that’s primarily because of Kubra. The second best moment was Dr Rubina snapping at Dr Shahnawaz: how dare you come to my office without asking? And the closing scene of three doctor women bonding as saas bahu.
This drama has it’s moments but Salman and Saniya are just… nevermind.
