Maybe Someday, was just an idea that popped in my head on a fine Saturday afternoon. Weekends are generally finish-your-weekly-chores routine; aided by a constant stream of thoughts reminiscing past.
I recalled my visit to Qamar Ali Durvesh shrine with my family. One thought led to other and a week later, I was ready with another story to be published.
When I googled for the title, I found out that there is a very popular book by a very popular author Colleen Hoover. I have not read the book and am unaware of its storyline. My book / story has nothing to do with the aforementioned novel.
That said, it is still an interesting story of two contrasting characters. It is short, quick, fun, witty and romantic. If you are like me and prefer to read stories with less than 100 pages; then this book is for you.
The story is more suitable for Indian readers. I am not saying others cannot read it. But Indians can relate to it better.
The book is free for Kindle Unlimited subscribers and costs only Rs. 50 (USD 0.99). Please buy, read & review and spread the word.
Maybe Someday (Happily Ever After Book 8)
An ‘Opposite Attracts’ Romance Novella
Jasmine has just moved to Pune city after getting a lucrative job, thereby realizing her lifelong dream of being independent. She is cynical, uptight, restless. She’s also a mama’s girl, still abiding by her mother’s whims – from a mandatory schedule of calling twice a day to visiting every shrine and religious place, she cannot say no to her mother.
Kabir continued working at his first job for six years before moving to Pune for a better paying job. He is free-spirited, friendly and calm. He likes exploring places and interacting with real people instead of generating social media following.
Their paths cross when they both visit a shrine. A witty and cute story featuring two interesting yet conflicting characters.
Will they hate each other?
Will they fall in love?
Do they meet again?
“Maybe Someday” is a stand-alone novella with a happily ever after theme. It is squeaky clean and does not contain any profanity or sexual content.
